Dun Eistein is situated in a quiet location on the south side of Tayvallich Bay, on the road signposted to the Taynish Nature Reserve and has beautiful views over the village and bay. We are just a few minutes walk from the village with its shop, café and Inn.
Tayvallich is a small village at the head of Loch Sween in Knapdale, Argyll. It is ideal for water sports, walking, cycling or just chilling out. There is a lot of wildlife to see nearby e.g. otters, beavers, red squirrels, pine martens, deer and a variety of birds.
The jura passenger ferry leaves from the jetty next to the shop to the Island of Jura during the summer months.
The accommodation forms the lower floor of our house and has a maximum capacity of 4 adults. It has its own entrance and has 2 bedrooms, each containing a double bed, with views over the village and the bay. There is a shower room, a dining room, a small sitting room and it also has its own fitted kitchen with electric hob and oven, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle.
Please note there are steps down to the accommodation but there is a hand rail
Smoking/vaping is not permitted inside the premises
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate children
For guests who are staying several nights, as there is no washing machine, washing can be done on request, an ironing board and iron can be provided if required.
