The house has two reception rooms, kitchen, three bedrooms and a bathroom. Outside is a brick-built shed and double garage (suitable for storing boating gear and wet clothing).
Tayvallich is an ideal spot for water sports enthusiasts, particularly dinghy sailing and kayaking; bird watching; fishing; walking; and painting. The islands of Jura, Islay, Gigha, and Mull are within easy reach.
The village has an excellent General Store / Post Office and Coffee shop. The Tayvallich Inn (100 yards) is the local pub and popular restaurant (seafood specialities).

Visitors must provide their own sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases, and towels.
There are night store heaters, open fires and portable electric fires. Water is heated by electric imersion heater. Coal is available from Lochgilphead or village shop.
There is no television, nor washing machine.
Dogs are welcome.
There is a No Smoking policy in the house.
