Property Description

The house has three reception rooms, kitchen, three bedrooms, bathroom, shower room and two toilets. Outside is a brick-built shed (with washing machine) and double garage (suitable for storing boating gear and wet clothing). The house has had a major upgrade in 2019, with an extension on the back incorporating a large kitchen, hall, bathroom and shower/wet-room, and additional WC upstairs. The old ‘feature’ staircase (very steep with corners) has been replaced with a new easy-to-manage version!

Tayvallich is an ideal spot for water sports enthusiasts, particularly dinghy sailing and kayaking; bird watching; fishing; walking; and painting. The islands of Jura, Islay, Gigha, and Mull are within easy reach.

The village has an excellent General Store and Coffee shop. The Tayvallich Inn (100 yards) is the local pub and popular restaurant (seafood specialities).

Water is heated by electric immersion heater.
There are portable electric fires, night store heaters, fixed electric fires in two bedrooms, and two wood-burning stoves downstairs.


There is no television.
Dogs are welcome.
There is a No Smoking policy in the house.
Wifi installed and available.
