Situated in the heart of Tayvallich only 50 metres from the local shop and coffee shop the house boasts exceptional views of the bay. Just a stone’s throw from the village front green, pontoons and slipway and within easy walking distance of all local amenities including the Tayvallich Inn, Taynish Nature Reserve and the local park, Tigh Na Croit is placed in an excellent location. It is only a short walk to Carsaig bay to enjoy the beach or watch the sunset across the Sound of Jura.

The property offers the perfect spot for a relaxing cosy break away or a great base for families looking to make the most of the more adventurous activities Argyll has to offer. We have private parking to the side of the property and additional space is available for boat trailers, kayaks etc on request.

The Accommodation

Tigh Na Croit comprises of 1 double room and 1 twin room- comfortably sleeping up to 4 people. All bed linen and towels are provided. Fantastic views of Tayvallich bay can be enjoyed from both bedrooms with the master bedroom benefitting from an attractive en suite consisting of toilet, wash hand basin, heated towel rail and shower complete with rainfall shower head.

Downstairs a modern fitted kitchen can be found with electric oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher and fridge freezer. The kitchen is well equipped with cutlery, crockery, utensils and plenty of cupboard space. The kitchen table provides space to enjoy meals. The living room is stylishly decorated with ample seating comprising of two arm chairs, large pouffe and corner sofa. The charts on the wall show off the surrounding area and the electric stove allows for stress-free warmth and cosiness at the end of a busy day. WIFI is provided and a smart TV is available with Freeview channels as well as the ability for guests to access their own Netflix/ iPlayer accounts, etc if wished. USB sockets provide handy charging opportunities.

There is a good-sized family bathroom downstairs with toilet, wash hand basin, heated towel rail, bath and shower. Perfect for rinsing off the kids after the beach or relaxing in the bath after bedtime!

The utility room to the rear provides the perfect place to strip off muddy boots and wetsuits with plentiful hanging space for coats and jackets. The washing machine can be found here. A whirligig rotary drier is situated out the back and a clothes airer provided indoors.

The front porch gives access to the front of the house with the bench on the front patio the ideal spot to watch the comings and goings of the village. A more secluded seating area can be found at the back of the property- the perfect location to enjoy a well-earned refreshment whilst still enjoying sea views.
