Property Description

Enjoying a prime location in Tayvallich ,Carsaig Cottage comfortably sleeps six people . Situated opposite the village green it has an uninterrupted view over this beautiful bay and beyond to the hills.. If you are interested in boating there is a public slipway and pontoon for your use opposite the cottage.. A small donation in the honesty box is much appreciated. This is where you can catch the ferry to Jura. The cottage which is over one hundred years old has recently had a major upgrade.

Upstairs

One double bedroom which has 2 chests of drawers, ample wardrobe space and hairdryer is provided. One twin bedded room with large chest of drawers and shelves and hanging space. Both bedrooms have magnificent views over the bay. Bathroom -- bath, basin and w.c.. Heated towel rail and fan heater.

Downstairs

One twin bedded room with large wardrobe with shelves ,dressing table and chair.
Very large shower room with a basin and w.c.. This room has underfloor heating and is ideal for drying off your wet weather gear. There is also a heated towel rail.

Sitting room

A cosy room with 2 sofas ,2 armchairs and an open fire. There is a t.v. and DVD player. There is a collection of DVDs in the cupboard along with books and board games.

Kitchen / Dining

There is a very spacious kitchen / dining room with a table which extends at both sides and can accommodate 12 people. The brand new kitchen has a double electric oven, microwave, ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer. The utility area has another fridge freezer and washing machine. There is also plenty of room for coats and shoes.

General

The cottage has new electric heating throughout
There are wall electric convector heaters in the upstairs bedrooms There is a large cupboard under the stairs with a vacuum cleaner and iron and ironing table.
To the rear of the cottage there is a large garden with 2 clothes lines. There are chairs available should you want to sit out.
There is no phone in the house but a pay phone opposite the shop.
Vodafone, EE, O2 and BT mobile are now available in the village.
There is Wi FI broadband throughout the house.
Linen is provided but please bring your own towels.

Pets

One well behaved dog is welcome. We request that they be kept off the furniture and not in the bedrooms. There is a charge is £30 a week.
Smoking is not permitted in the cottage.

Parking

There is room for 2 cars to park at the rear of the cottage .
